How the Dotloop Integration Works in Clozze
The Dotloop integration in Clozze allows real estate professionals to connect their Dotloop account and import loop and participant data directly into the Clozze workspace. By linking Dotloop with Clozze, agents can manage buyers, listings, and transaction workflows in one platform without re entering data across multiple systems.
Overview of How the Integration Works
Clozze connects to Dotloop using OAuth 2.0 authorization. This secure connection allows Clozze to read loop and participant data from the user’s Dotloop account. After authorization, users can import Dotloop loops as Listings and loop participants as Buyers through the Add Listing and Add Buyer workflows in Clozze.
The integration is designed to support transaction management inside Clozze while allowing users to continue using Dotloop for document workflows. Clozze does not push any data back to Dotloop and does not modify loop data.
How to Connect Your Dotloop Account
To activate the Dotloop integration, users must have both a Dotloop account and a Clozze account.
Once logged into Clozze, navigate to the Integrations page from the left sidebar. Locate the Dotloop integration card and click Connect. A new browser tab will open and redirect you to the Dotloop authorization screen.

How to Use Dotloop Inside Clozze
After connecting Dotloop, users can use their Dotloop credentials in three primary ways inside Clozze.
First, users can upload files using Dotloop as the source when adding documents.
Second, users can add a listing by navigating to Add Listing and selecting Dotloop to import an existing loop.
Third, users can add a buyer by navigating to Add Buyer from the home dashboard and selecting Dotloop to choose a participant from an existing loop.
In each case, users are prompted to select the loop or participant they want to import. Clozze then creates the corresponding buyer or listing profile card using the selected data.

What Data Is Synced From Dotloop
The Dotloop integration is read only. Clozze pulls data from Dotloop but does not push data back.
Data pulled from Dotloop into Clozze includes account information, profiles, loop details, and participant information. This includes loop ID, loop name, transaction type, loop status, and participant details such as name, email, phone number, and role.
No data is written back to Dotloop at any time.
How Syncing Works
Syncing is user initiated and happens on demand. Clozze does not use Dotloop webhooks or automatic background syncing.
Syncing occurs when a user opens the Import from Dotloop picker inside the Add Buyer or Add Listing modal. Users can also manually trigger a sync by clicking Sync from the Integrations page.
Each sync pulls the most up to date information available at the time of the request.
Managing Transactions After Import
Once buyer and listing profiles are created from Dotloop data, users can manage transactions fully inside Clozze. This includes task management, communication, team collaboration, calendar syncing, and transaction tracking.
Clozze acts as the operational layer that sits alongside Dotloop, allowing teams to focus on execution, visibility, and coordination without duplicating work.
